Ade Laugee

Ade Laugee

A trained violinist and former resident DJ at Planet Angel London, Ade Laugee considered a night in the mid 90’s as his first genuine awakening to modern day clubbing before gratefully receiving the opportunity to transmit the music himself in 2003.

In his continuous pursuit to develop an invigorating but thought provoking sound, he draws inspiration from the world of psychedelica plus world wide folk music / vocals that often naturally gravitates, though by no means exclusively, towards Ska / Reggae. Add Western electronica dance rhythms, particularly Breaks + D&B & you’ve a recipe that radiates summertime & open air carnivals / festivals / fiestas.

Simply immerse yourself in readiness for total transportation beyond the confines of an indoor environment.

DJ Fiend

DJ Fiend
DJ Fiend (aka Pete O'Shea) is an up and coming DJ playing some of the most catchy, progressive DnB. His style ranges from floaty-happy to dirty-bangy, covering everything in between.

Whilst sticking to his DnB roots, his music selection pays tribute to a large variety of other music genres such as reggae, rock/metal, breaks etc, and blends them all together in a funky eclectic mix that will blow you away!

Fiend has only been DJing for a couple of years, but progressed rapidly after locking himself away from the world for a year in order to practice! His lifelong love of music and hate of 'filler tracks' has resulted in sets filled to the brim with music that you just can't resist dancing to.

As well as DJing, he is a self taught pianist, and is just starting to produce his own music.

Wingnut

For Wingnut – aka Will Jobbins – it’s all about the broken beats. His musical journey started at seven years old with violin, viola and double bass which he played with the local youth Wingnutorchestra, and he moved on to learn to play the electric bass guitar, peaking in his late teens in a metal band with whom he gigged all over Essex and London. After breaking his fingers and wrist in a motorcycle accident he was unable to continue to play string instruments, but eighteen months ago he picked up a pair of CD players and a mixer and got stuck in, and subsequently enjoyed his club debut at the Acidic Records launch night.

Breakbeats of all kinds are his preferred earfood and he’s specialising in the embryonic and exciting psybreaks style, but Wingnut will also spin drum n’ bass, dubstep, tech/prog/electro house, chill, world fusion and a myriad of other genres as the occasion demands. If it involves floor-shaking rhythms, pulsating frequency shifts and oscillating soundscapes that make your brain melt, he’ll play it.

And yes, in case you’re wondering, the name comes from the ears. It’s a miracle he could find earphones to fit but at least you can be safe in the knowledge that, with lugholes like those, he’s able to pick the very best tunes around to seduce your ears and move your feet. He just has to turn his head to walk through narrow doorways, but it’s a small price to pay...
